By: SoundSlam Published: Jan. 18, 2006 - Los Angeles, CA
The West Coast staple artist, Daz Dillinger, has expanded his territory by linking up with DJ Warrior and DJ Strong. The move will officially incorporate the DJ’s into the label and crew, forging a mainstay relationship for mixtapes, shows and tours, and promotional outlets.
Daz jumpstarted his own G.A.R. label imprint (Gangsta Advisory Recordings/ God’s Army Reserves) and has dreams of turning the label into an empire. Speaking on the topic, Daz explained, “G.A.R. is a serious label, we plan on developing and becoming the next Aftermath Records one day. We are making moves to align with new artists, new corporate consulting firms, and new staff.” Daz continued, “Myself and Big A have chosen to really create a powerful brand this year. And who could promote this brand better than the biggest DJs in the West? DJ Strong and DJ Warrior!!”
DJ Warrior and DJ Strong have already collaborated with Daz and Kurupt or have solo releases on a number of varying mixtapes. Some of these include “West Coast Mixtape Kings 1”, “Cali Untouchable Radio 5”, “Palm Trees and Gangstas Vol. 1”, “Ill Street Dues 2”, Hip Hop Honeys Las Vegas”, “Got Mixtapes Pt. 3” and numerous others.
