Veteran emcee Common, born Lonnie Rashid Lynn, will officially unveil his brand new line of hats, Soji, on Wednesday, January 24 in New York City.
The hip hopper-turned-actor is now taking his edgy fashion appeal into business. After nearly 18 months when word broke, Common's Soji hat line will be accessible to the public. The high-end hats, however, will not be found at your average mall outlet store.
The Soji hats will be sold exclusively at La Coppola Storta stores, located in Italy (Roma, Bologna, Palermo and Firenza) and in New York City's SoHo district.
In related Common news, the Windy City emcee has wrapped up his seventh studio album, Finding Forever, set for store shelves come June 2007. Even more, Lonnie Rashid Lynn is impacting the silver screen with "Smokin' Aces," an action film, and "American Gangster," with Denzel Washington and Russell Crowe.
Common also penned the enlightening "A Dream," for the new film, "Freedom Writers." The video can be viewed below.
