La 9MM, the latin rap & reggaeton group of Paterson, NJ, was created in 2003 by founding members Diamante, Kacino, Sicopata, and DJ Pikaka.
Already freestyling in street mc battles, the three rappers started taking their work to the studio, where they completed La 9mm's first mixtape, "Welcome to My Barrio." Performing in various nightclubs all over New Jersey, as well as Dominican and Puerto Rican Parades and Festivals, the group continues to freestyle in competitions (always ready to take on any rapper 'toe-to-toe') and is constantly recording new music at the studio. Right now a new mixtape, called "The Rottweilers", is in the works. Scheduled to be released this Spring 2006, be sure to come back soon for more info.
