( 0 ) INTERVIEW WITH HIP HOP UK March 24, 2006 Hip Hop UK-United Kingdom Hip Hop Magazine Interview with Tiny Lethaface from the group LSC(Light Skinned Criminals) HHUK: How are you doing today? T-Face: I'm living so i guess i'm doing good. HHUK:Introduce yourself to everyone please? T-Face: Whats Crackin UK this your ni**a Papi Gambini aka Tiny Lethaface Tha Silent Assassin representing Long Beach, California. LSC Light Skinned Criminals Free Big Lethaface!! HHUK:Now tell us are you a solo artist or just a memeber of LSC? T-Face:Well I'm a solo artist thats part of a group LSC of course.But i also do solo projects to. HHUK:Tell us a little bit about LSC? T-Face:LSC was formed about 3 years ago we started off as just a group of cousins on a mission to make money. We ran the streets together, made money together, no matter what we did we was always together.We were all staying with my auntie at the time, in the apartment complex she stayed in we were known as them Light Skinned Ni**as from Long Beach.Shit cuz then one day we was just sittin around talking about how much we just stood out from everyone else no matter where we went and was like man fuck it we going to call our self LSC Light Skinned Criminals. Me, Moonie Gambini, and C-Rob were always freestyling at functions together so cuz next thing i know we just turned it into a rap group. HHUK:When did you first start rapping? T-Face: I satrted when i was 13, i just sat there one day and started freestyling to a song on the radio. then i was like damn cuz i can do this shit. I wrote my first 16 bars and from there shit it was on and cracking. HHUK: How would you explain your style of music you make? T-Face: Shit cuz i would just say its gangsta rap with a new twist to it.Alot of the shit i talk about in my songs are things that i went threw or my ni**as went thew. But its always something that somebody can relate to in my songs, and i just dont give a fuck. I'ma say what i want without thinking twice about it. HHUK: Can we expect an album from you anytime soon? T-Face: Well right now i got alot of other prjects i'm working on but you can expect alot of solo mixtapes. Oh yeah i got a compilation cd i'm workin on titled TINY LETHAFACE PRESENTS..... CALIBANGIN BANDANNA SWANGIN its gonna be alot of upcoming rappers from tha westcoast puttin it down on that muthafucka. HHUK: What about an LSC Album? T-Face: well right now we got a demo we workin on that we got to get to Def Jam, but expect alot of mixtapes dropping in tha streets and the net. HHUK: You mentioned Def Jam have you got an offer from Def Jam or any other labels? T-Face: Nah we just workin on tryna get up in there with Def Jam. HHUK: What about shows you have any shows in tha U.S. or maybe somewhere over here? T-Face: Actually we dont have any shows lined up cuase we dont have alot of shit on wax out there yet.But we workin on it. HHUK: I read on your myspace page about a case? whats that all about? T-Face: Yeah me and my cousin Big Lethaface caught a case together. I'm currently out on bail and he's still waiting for bail, we just dont have the money right now to bail him out.The case is holding me back from alot of things i need to do but i know gods going to make things right. HHUK:so you did some time? T-Face: Nah I was in there for about 4 months before i was bailed out.Muthafuckaz make mistakes but i just gotta keep my head up on move on after we beat this case i'm planning on leaving Cali too try to start over in a whole other state.FREE BIG LETHAFACE!! HHUK: Is Big Lethaface a part of the group? T-Face: Oh Yeah cuz!! Thats my ni**a right there shit when C-Rob got locked up Big Face was keeping me and Moonie motivated to keep the group movin forward you feel me? Shit he dont rap but he a part of LSC too. FREE BIG LETHAFACE!! HHUK:Ok now i want to get to now a little bit about your personal life if you dont mind? T-Face: I'ma keep it 100% with you. HHUK:What is your personalty like? T-Face: Alright peep game. I'm a cool ass ni**a to get along with i'm quiet but dont test me! I just liike to kick it though, sip on some drink,smoke a lil weed, and make money. Most people expect me to be one of those pretty boys, but fuck a pretty boy shit i keep it ghetto gutter gangsta all day! HHUK:How was it like growing up for you? T-Face: I live most of my life in Long Beach and part of my life in Compton and then Ontario all citys in Killa Cali. I lived with both parents we grew up like most black familys did we had are ups & downs. But alot of my family is mixed up, on my moms side my fam is black and on my pops side we just all mixed the fuck up. we got Blacks, Puerto Ricans,American Indians shit is crazy though cuz. HHUK:Are you a single man? T-Face: Yeah right now i'm single. HHUK: Are you looking for that special someone maybe? T-Face: Well the last female i was serious with things didnt work out after my arrest during the time i was locked up she was holdin a ni**a down, but when a ni**a got out she just threw me to the side so after all i relized she wasnt a ride or die bitch. but you know i'm not out there just like fuck i'm go to the club and try to find me a girl. HHUK:What type of girls do you go for? T-Face: Ah damn lets see. I would say she has to be a ride or die female she gotta be down with a ni**a during the hard times. She cant be tryna change me around you feel me? Like shit she gotta like me for who i am if not then kick rocks cuz! Oh yea and she gotta be able to take care of herself, not just depending on my money she gotta have her own chippers loc. HHUK:So how far are you tryna take this music? T-Face: shit cuz i'm tryna take it all the way to the top!! you know what i'm sayin? i want to own a record label which i'm currently working on THUG BOYZ ENTERTAINMENT/REVOLUTIONARY RECORDZ i got alot of shit i'm tryna do but just look out for your ni**a on the top aight!
